Ontario Trillium Foundation makes record-setting investment in PrideHouse Toronto

The Government of Ontario’s lottery-funded ‘Ontario Trillium Foundation’ announced a record-setting investment in the Pride House movement today. The Foundation announced a grant of $587,400 CAD (€415,000/$495,000/£325,000) to The 519, trustee organization for PrideHouse Toronto to:

“implement a comprehensive engagement and activation strategy for the lesbian, gay, bi, trans, queer (LGBTQ) communities in Ontario during and leading up to the 2015 Pan / Parapan Am Games. More than 650 volunteers will be trained in Toronto and eight other Ontario communities to provide inclusion training to organizations in their communities, and to activate hundreds of events, games and celebrations to engage LGBTQ communities in sport and recreation.
